Winter Work Outfits

Judging by the amount of snow there is outside I think it’s finally time I stop living in denial and accept that winter is actually here. Goodbye dream world, you will be missed.

There’s one thing I actually do like about the winter though, and that’s the fashion. Chunky sweaters, cozy scarves, and ankle booties are just some of my favorite winter fashion staples, but, if I’m being honest, when it’s cold outside all I really want to do is throw on a pair of sweats and a huge sweatshirt and call it a day (and then maybe spend that entire day in bed).

Unfortunately, I work full-time at a modeling agency in New York City, and my boss probably wouldn’t enjoy it if I showed up to work everyday in sweatpants, so I’ve had to learn how to perfect the whole dressing warm while still dressing comfy thing.

Luckily for me I find so much fashion inspiration every day simply just by walking down 7th Avenue on my way to work (check out some of my favorite city-inspired outfits here!) and I want to share with you some outfits I pulled together inspired by my favorite city looks.

Don’t let the freezing temperatures compromise how cute you look this winter! Just grab a faux fur coat and some booties and you’ll be good to go!

Thank you! Wintertime definitely has its negatives in my opinion, but one thing I do love is the fashion. I try not to let the cold weather talk me out of dressing cute, but as long as I have some outfit ideas put together in my head it definitely helps me a lot! I’m glad these outfits inspire you as well!

We just had our first halfway decent snow of 2018 yesterday so this post was super timely! Of the outfits you’ve put together, I would probably try to combine the last two. I’m a model in Kansas City and love drawing fashion inspiration from my favorite NY bloggers!

I’m so glad this post was able to help you out! I think that’s an awesome idea to combine the last two. That’s what I absolutely love about fashion – you can find inspiration from so many different places but then put your own spin on it to make it your own. New York City is definitely my absolute favorite place to get fashion inspiration – so many people have their own sense of style and it’s so amazing to see how their personality can shine through their clothing. I’m happy this post gave you some inspiration!

I like the sweater in the biker chic look, surprisingly. That isn’t normally my jam.

I do too, but I’m totally cardigan obsessed so it isn’t so surprising for me. Whenever I go shopping for sweaters with the intent of purchasing pullover sweaters I always end up with about 10 more cardigans haha, it’s an obsession that can’t be kicked!
